Hiring help for busy managers
Get your time back.
Hire This Week helps you write job posts, screen applicants, follow up with candidates and schedule interviews. Spend less time hiring and more time running your business, being with your family or simply enjoying your day off.
Your first hire is free.
Hiring shouldn’t take over your week.
You need another employee. So you write a job post, check applications, return calls, ask screening questions and try to find time for interviews.
Meanwhile, customers need attention, employees have questions and your schedule is already full.
Before long, you’re catching up on hiring after work or spending your day off calling applicants. And the people you wanted to interview may have already taken another job.
Hire This Week helps you keep hiring moving while you take care of everything else.

What does Hire This Week actually do?
Hire This Week automates the hiring work between “someone applied” and “someone is ready to interview.” It scores every application against the criteria you set, calls qualified candidates for a natural 2–4 minute AI phone screen, and lets shortlisted candidates book their own interview time. You review the shortlist, listen to the calls if you want, and decide who to hire.
Does the AI make hiring decisions for me?
No. Hire This Week does the work around the decisions. You set the criteria, you review the shortlist, and you decide who moves forward. Every AI-generated score includes the candidate’s own words and the reasoning behind the score, so nothing is a black box.
How does the phone screen sound to candidates?
Natural, like a short, focused conversation with a recruiter. The AI, Rita, identifies herself as an automated screener calling on your behalf, asks 4–6 role-specific questions, answers candidate questions using your FAQ, and closes politely. Most calls run 2–4 minutes. Candidates who prefer to book a specific time can do that instead of taking the call live.
Can candidates opt out of the AI call?
Yes, easily. Candidates get a text invitation first. They can reply YES to take the call, pick a specific time through a link, or reply STOP to opt out entirely across all your jobs. No candidate quietly disappears from your pipeline. Anyone who needs manual follow-up is flagged for you.
What about Spanish-speaking candidates?
Everything candidates see, including the job posting, application form, text messages, and the AI phone screen itself, runs in English or Mexican Spanish. Candidates pick their language on the application, and your dashboard stays in English. Job content you write is translated on demand and saved, so you don’t maintain two copies.
How is this different from Indeed or ZipRecruiter?
Indeed and ZipRecruiter attract applicants. That’s the top of the funnel. Hire This Week handles everything after someone applies: scoring, phone screening, follow-up, and interview scheduling. You keep posting where you already post, and we tag each share link so you can see which channels actually produce hires.
How is this different from other hiring software?
Many hiring tools help you collect applications and keep track of applicants, but you may still end up calling each one yourself. Hire This Week is built to take on that step. Its AI phone screen is included, so applicants are screened for you and you review the results when you have time. Scoring is tuned for hourly roles, with criteria like certifications, availability, drive radius, and schedule fit built in.
What if the AI gets a candidate wrong?
You see the score for each criterion with the candidate’s actual words next to it. If a judgment looks off, you can reopen the candidate, retry the screen, or move them to a different stage yourself. Nothing is destructive. Historical scores are frozen at evaluation time, so re-scoring later doesn’t rewrite the record.
Do I still make the final hire decision?
Always. Hire This Week surfaces the best candidates, and you close them.
How long does setup take?
You can get started in a few minutes. Sign up for your free first hire, and we’ll be in touch to set up your first job post. From there, it starts with a text. Answer a few questions about the position, and Hire This Week uses your answers to help write the job description. Review it, make any changes, and approve it. Hire This Week can then publish it to job boards and bring your applicants into one place.
What if my candidates don’t answer the AI call?
Rita retries, up to three attempts between 8 AM and 7 PM in your time zone. Before that, the candidate already got a text with a link to pick their own call time. If someone truly can’t be reached, they’re flagged in your Inbox for a manual decision.
Is my data safe?
Yes. See our Trust & Security page for how data is stored and protected, how we handle candidate information, and how we follow TCPA rules for texts and calls. Our Privacy Policy and Messaging Policy have the full details.
