Hire This Week is a product of Archlogix, LLC (Archlogix). Archlogix understands and respects your concerns about how we use your personal information. We believe you should know what information we collect about you and how we use, maintain, and, in some cases, share it.

The following sets forth our privacy practices and policies for Hire This Week. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Archlogix. For a plain-language summary of how we store and protect data, see Trust & Security.

Privacy practices

We will collect information about you when you do any of the following:

1. Register to become a customer;
2. Use Hire This Week, including by text message, by phone, or through our website;
3. Apply for, or are screened for, a job with an employer or recruiter that uses Hire This Week;
4. Participate in one of our promotions or offers; or
5. Request information about our services from us or from another company through which we offer our services.

By doing any of the foregoing, you assent to this privacy policy. If you disagree with the terms of this policy, please do not engage in any of these activities.

As described below, we store and use several types of information about you. This may include information about your identity, your hiring activity, your text messages and calls with the service, and your activity on our website. We use this information to provide our services, to continually improve our services and website, and to monitor our network and data processing systems, generally in anonymous form.

From time to time, we may disclose or sell to unaffiliated third parties some of the information we collect about you, including information we collect through your registration as a customer, your participation in one of our promotions, or your request to us or one of our partners for information about our services. This does not include mobile information collected through our SMS messaging program or candidate information. Mobile information is subject to the additional restrictions described in the SMS messaging program section and will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information collected about you and our use of such information

The following describes the types of personal and other information we may collect about you and how we use and maintain it.

Information related to your account

When you register for Hire This Week or submit information through our website, by text message, or by email, we collect information about you. To maintain your account, we store your name, company name, business address, email address, mobile phone number, and, in certain circumstances, your credit card number.

Your name, billing address, and credit card information allow us to bill you for paid services.

We use your email address to communicate with you about your account. We also use it to respond to inquiries submitted through our website or by email. From time to time, we may send information about products and services we believe may interest you.

As a Hire This Week customer, you may create a username and password to access your account through our website. We store these credentials in our database.

Hiring and candidate information

When an employer or recruiter uses Hire This Week to fill a job, we collect information about the job and about the people who apply. Candidate information may include your name, contact details including your mobile phone number, work history, availability, answers to application and screening questions, and records of your communications with the service, including text messages and phone screens.

We collect and use candidate information on behalf of the employer or recruiter, to help them review applicants, conduct screening, and schedule interviews. Archlogix will not use candidate information for any purpose other than to provide the service and for statistical reporting purposes. Archlogix may aggregate anonymous service data regarding its customers’ use and system functioning. Archlogix will own the aggregated statistical data.

We maintain a database containing hiring and candidate information and use it as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the service. Archlogix uses commercially reasonable security measures to protect this data against unauthorized disclosure or use.

If you applied for a job through Hire This Week, the employer or recruiter also receives your information. (To understand what an employer may do with information about you in the employer’s custody, you should check that employer’s privacy policy.) Text messages sent to applicants are covered by the SMS messaging program section below.

Website information

Our website employs browser cookies.

In addition, when you visit our website, our systems automatically collect your IP address and the type of browser you use. Our systems also log the Hire This Week web pages you visit.

Information from promotions and requests

When you participate in a Hire This Week promotion or offer, you may provide us with personal information. This typically includes your name and email address and may also include your mailing address and telephone number.

We store this information in our database and use it to communicate with you about the promotion. We may also use it to promote our services unless you opt out of receiving those communications.

We also collect information you give us when you request additional information about our services, either via our website or via one of our partners through which we offer our services. (To understand what a partner of ours may do with information about you in the partner’s custody, you should check that partner’s privacy policy.)

Information we collect through these requests includes your name, phone number, and email address, and the name of your company if you are seeking information on its behalf. We will use this information to provide you with details about our services and may use it to promote our services to you in the future unless you inform us that you opt out of receiving such communications.

Other information

We may retain any data you provide us in an email inquiry to track the types of questions we receive.

Hire This Week SMS messaging program

Hire This Week sends application-to-person (A2P) text messages to two groups: business customers who use Hire This Week to hire, and job applicants who apply to an employer or recruiter that uses Hire This Week. This section explains how we handle mobile information in that program. Please read it together with our SMS Terms and Conditions.

Information we collect through the program

When you opt in to receive text messages, we collect:

• Your mobile phone number;
• Your name and, if you are a job applicant, the application information you give the employer or recruiter;
• Records of the messages we send you and your replies, including keywords such as STOP, HELP, START, YES, and NO;
• Message delivery status information returned by your wireless carrier; and
• The date, time, and content of your opt-in.

How you opt in

Business customers opt in by entering a mobile phone number on our Start free form and checking a consent box, which starts unchecked, agreeing to receive text messages from Hire This Week at that number.

Job applicants opt in by entering a mobile phone number on a Hire This Week application form and checking a consent box, which starts unchecked, agreeing to receive text messages at that number. Consent is not a condition of applying for a job, being considered for employment, or purchasing any goods or services.

You may also opt in through another method described in our SMS Terms and Conditions.

How we use this information

We use mobile information only to operate the program, to provide the service you signed up for, and to support the hiring process you are part of.

Business customers receive messages to set up and manage their account and hiring searches, updates about candidates and interviews, and responses to their requests.

Job applicants receive:

• Application receipt and status confirmations;
• Phone screening notifications;
• Interview scheduling messages and booking links;
• Appointment reminders; and
• Other transactional messages about their application.

The program sends transactional and informational messages only. It does not send marketing or promotional messages.

How we share mobile information

We share mobile information only:

• With the employer or recruiter you applied to, if you are a job applicant, because they communicate with you through Hire This Week;
• With service providers that operate the program for us, including our SMS provider, Twilio, which are required by contract to use it only for that purpose; and
• When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.

Message frequency, cost, and carriers

Message frequency varies based on your account activity or your progress through the hiring process. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out and help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from the program. We will send one message confirming that you have opted out, and you will receive no further program messages unless you opt in again.

Retention

We keep phone numbers, opt-in records, and message logs for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, support the hiring process, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your information by emailing support@archlogix.com, subject to any retention the law requires.

When your information will be shared or disclosed

If you purchase paid services, we provide the bank that processes your credit card for billing purposes with your name, billing address, credit card information, and the amount to be charged.

We share information with service providers that help us operate Hire This Week, such as the companies that deliver our text messages and phone calls. They may use it only to provide those services to us.

We will comply with any subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes regarding any information about you in our possession, and we may use such information to establish or exercise our legal rights or to defend against legal claims.

Information about you in our possession may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which your personal information would be transferred as one of the company’s business assets. Archlogix does not guarantee that any entity receiving such information in connection with one of these transactions will comply with all terms of this policy.

We may also transfer information we collect about you among our various divisions and affiliated companies worldwide, including from countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries outside the EEA. By allowing Archlogix to collect this information about you, you consent to these transfers, including the trans-border transmission of data covered by this privacy policy.

Mobile information collected through our SMS messaging program is subject to the additional restrictions described in the SMS messaging program section and will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Other websites

For your convenience, our website includes links to other websites, including some administered by Archlogix or other companies on behalf of Archlogix, as well as websites unrelated to Archlogix. This privacy policy does not apply to these linked websites. Check each website’s privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

Archlogix may update this privacy policy from time to time. For example, if Archlogix merges with or is acquired by another company, this policy may change. Whenever a change to this policy is significant, we will place a prominent notice on our website.

Governing law

By choosing to visit our website or otherwise provide information to Archlogix, you agree that the law of the State of Missouri will govern any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this privacy policy. You also agree to arbitrate such disputes and to abide by any limitation on damages contained in our Terms of Use, Terms and Conditions of Service, or other applicable agreement we have with you.
