How Hire This Week uses text messaging
Overview
Hire This Week, operated by Archlogix, LLC, sends transactional text messages to job applicants on behalf of the businesses they applied to, and to business customers about their own Hire This Week accounts.
This page documents who sends those messages, when they are sent, and how people opt in and opt out.
Hire This Week is a hiring platform that businesses with hourly teams use to manage job applicants. Our customers include restaurants and hospitality businesses, cleaning and facility services, trades and field service companies, and call centers. As part of that hiring workflow, Hire This Week texts applicants on behalf of the hiring company they applied to. These messages include application confirmations, phone screen invitations, interview booking links, and interview reminders.
Hire This Week is the messaging operator. In messages to applicants, the hiring company is the brand whose name appears, so the applicant always knows who is contacting them.
All Hire This Week messages are transactional. Messages to applicants are tied to an application the recipient started, and messages to business customers are tied to the account they signed up for. Hire This Week does not send marketing, promotional, political, financial services, age-gated, or loan or lending content by text message. Hire This Week is not an emergency notification service.
Who sends, who receives
Sender
Messages come from a Hire This Week phone number provided through Twilio, registered for A2P 10DLC messaging and operated by Archlogix, LLC. Every message to an applicant names the hiring company so the recipient knows the context.
Recipient
Job applicants who voluntarily applied to a hiring company that uses Hire This Week, and business customers who signed up and opted in. We use no purchased lists and do no unsolicited outreach. No one is contacted before they submit a form and consent.
Relationship
For applicants, it begins when they complete the hiring company’s public application form and consent to text messages. For business customers, it begins when they submit our Start free form and consent.
How people opt in
Job applicants
Consent is captured with a checkbox on the public application form, next to the phone number field. The checkbox is unchecked by default, and the applicant must check it before submitting. The default disclosure reads:
By submitting, you agree to receive SMS messages from {Company Name} about your application. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
{Company Name} is replaced with the hiring company’s legal name when the form is displayed. Text message consent is optional. It is not required to apply for or be considered for any position.
The opt-in works like this:
- The applicant opens the hiring company’s public application form.
- The applicant enters a phone number.
- The applicant checks the unchecked text message consent box.
- Consent is recorded only when the box is checked and the form is submitted.
- If the box is left unchecked, the record is immediately marked as opted out and no text message is ever sent. The application is marked for follow-up, and the hiring company contacts the applicant by email or phone instead.
Hiring companies may customize the disclosure text, up to 500 characters, but most applicants see the default text above.
Business customers
Business customers opt in on our Start free form by entering a mobile phone number and checking a consent box, which is unchecked by default. The disclosure reads:
I agree to receive text messages from Hire This Week about setting up and managing my hiring account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Frequency
A typical applicant receives up to five messages: the application confirmation, a phone screen invitation, a booking link if they advance, an interview confirmation once they pick a time, and a reminder the day before the interview. Applicants who do not advance receive only the confirmation.
- Messages to applicants are sent only during business hours, 8 AM to 7 PM in the hiring company’s time zone.
- Every outbound message includes opt-out instructions or an equivalent.
- Message and data rates may apply, as stated in the opt-in disclosure.
For business customers, message frequency varies with their account activity and hiring searches.
STOP and HELP keywords
Keywords are not case-sensitive and apply across every business that uses Hire This Week.
Opt-out keywords
- STOP
- STOPALL
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- END
- QUIT
The recipient receives one final confirmation message. After that, no further messages from any Hire This Week customer are sent to that number.
Opt-in keywords
- START
- UNSTOP
These reverse an earlier opt-out.
HELP keyword
Replying HELP returns this message:
Hire This Week: This is an automated hiring service from Archlogix, LLC. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Msg & data rates may apply. For help, contact the company you applied to, or email support@archlogix.com.
YES (an application reply, not an opt-in)
Replying YES to a phone screen invitation confirms the applicant agrees to a phone call and moves their application into the call queue. YES is not a text message opt-in keyword.
Opt-out enforcement
Every outbound text message goes through a single central send function, which checks the recipient’s opt-out status before any message is passed to our SMS provider. This applies across every business that uses Hire This Week.
An opt-out is permanent unless the recipient replies START or UNSTOP. Opt-outs do not expire or reset.
Data sharing
Hire This Week does not sell, rent, or share opt-in data, phone numbers, or text message content with third parties for marketing.
- Applicant phone numbers and consent records are used only to send messages about the application, on behalf of the hiring company the applicant chose. They are not shared outside that hiring company.
- Business customer phone numbers and consent records are used only to send messages about the customer’s own account.
- Twilio, our SMS provider, handles message content to deliver it, subject to Twilio’s own privacy practices.
